Transforming Urban Water Supply: Intermediary Services in Europe (2002-2005)
This research project, funded by the European Commission under Framework 5, focused on the transformation of urban water supply and wastewater systems in Europe. It explored intermediary services and organizations that exist between utilities and consumers within the evolving infrastructure landscape. Key work packages included assessing the status of water market liberalization, identifying and mapping intermediary activities, and evaluating their impacts on urban contexts. The project aimed to promote effective intermediaries to enhance water management and quality in urban areas.
