OCC Sailing. Megan Clark. This is the Ocean County College Sailing team as of Fall 2012 and Spring 2013. The OCC Sailing team sails two seasons Fleet racing occurs in the Fall Team racing is sailed during the Spring. We sail two different kinds of boats when racing.

  2. This is the Ocean County College Sailing team as of Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

  3. The OCC Sailing team sails two seasons Fleet racing occurs in the Fall Team racing is sailed during the Spring

  4. We sail two different kinds of boats when racing. Both are two person dinghy’s. 420’s FJ’s

  5. We practice three days a week for about three hours a day. Our Practices are held at the Toms River Yacht Club on the Toms River Each practice is spent working on important boat handling skills

  6. Regattas Each weekend we get to travel to different colleges to sail races. Traveling lets us: see new colleges make new friends grow closer as a team

  7. I have sailed at: Drexel University Webb Institute Hampton University Georgetown University West Point

  8. Sailing History This semester our team made history by winning at four regattas. Our Home regatta, University of Delaware, West Point, and University of Drexel.

  9. Being a part of this team has brought me so many close friends.

  10. Before September I had never sailed before, but joining this team has been one of the best decisions I have made. I recommend joining this team to anyone. Come sail with us!
