  2. What the course is? Designed to give students the knowledge and understanding necessary to prepare for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam and become effective personal trainers. Presents the ACE Integrated Fitness Training™ (ACE IFT™) Model as a comprehensive system for designing individualized programs based on each client's unique health, fitness, and goals. Helps students learn how to facilitate rapport, adherence, self-efficacy and behavior change in clients, as well as design programs that help clients to improve posture, movement, flexibility, balance, core function, cardiorespiratory fitness, and muscular endurance and strength.

  6. Details • Non-Credit Course • Class held Sept 5th – Dec 5th • No class November 28th • (Possibly no class Sept 25th) • 2 -4 pm • Classroom & Lab/Hands On Work • Cost: • Current Wellness Center Employees - $160* • All Others - $215* • * Includes the study materials.

  7. Details, cont’d • Must have 8 people register in order for class to run • 15 spots available. • Must register by Sept 4th

  8. Benefits! Will be prepared to take ACE PT Exam *Cost of Exam is $249 (with ACE Course Discount – could be $199) AND/OR Will be able to work at the UND Wellness Center as a Personal Trainer before certified upon successful completion of the course.
