The Poole & Purbeck Portal • A critical mass of interest in a fairly small geographical area. • Providing a forum for businesses to link with the student community. • A shop window for BU Students & Staff excellence. • A professional interface between businesses & the public, regional stakeholders, students and staff.
The Poole & Purbeck Portal • Advertise job/placement opportunities for BU students in the region. • Allow students and graduates to create profiles to showcase their CVs and skills. • Allow the general public to raise questions that the consortium will respond to. • Provide updates on current research, activities, events, news and links to related initiatives.
What we are looking for… • Members of this community who can provide in-kind support to our student community, such as… • Preferential placements to BU students. • Independent Research Projects for final year students.
