What is Power Media Plus? • Power Media Plus, educational media-on-demand for Teachers and by Teachers, blends standards-based multimedia with state-of-the-art curriculum integration tools in an unparalleled and affordable system. The rich media collection features all media types—3,300 videos; 23,000 core concept clips; 6,000 audio files, including speeches, audio books, and music; 25,000 educational photos, clip art images, and illustrations; and 5,000 print resources, as well as a databank of 15,000 quiz questions and 1,000 pre-made quizzes. Saving Power Media Plus Resources • After finding the video clip you want to incorporate into you lesson: • Right Click the “download” button. • Right Click on “Right-click (Ctrl-click for Mac) this link and select Save Target As/Download Link to Disk”, then select “Save Target As” • Rename the video file and save the file.

How to Hyperlink Video Files into Documents • Post World War I • The Roaring Twenties • Directions: (2 Ways) #1 • Highlight what you want to serve as your action button or hyperlink. • Right Click and select “Hyperlink”. • Look in where you saved the video clip and double click the file. (If you want to go to the website directly, you can also enter the web address where it says, “Address”. #2 • Highlight what you want to serve as your action button or hyperlink. • Select “Slide Show” and click on “Action Setting”. • Select “Hyperlink” and pull down the menu where or what you want to hyperlink. If it is saved on a disk or to the computer, select “Other Files”. • Select the file you want to hyperlink.
