  2. Mission Statement • Basingstoke RFC to become the centre for excellence in Hampshire and the surrounding area, providing Rugby Union for both senior and Youth sections. • To make Basingstoke and Deane a Rugby Union sports cultured town.

Basingstoke RFC restructure • Youth • The aim is to make rugby one, but maintaining the high standards we pride ourselves on • No Youth Committee • Youth Liaison – Andrew Birch • First Aid Coordinator feeds into club medical • Kit Manager feeds into the shop • Safe guarding feeds directly into the CEO • Fixture secretaries work autonomously with a pre season meeting and then to the Head Coaches forum when required

  5. Community Rugby • The school will be given / allocated a Basingstoke RFC home game • For that game anybody associated with that school get free entry • A member of Senior leadership and a member of the PE department / PE Coordinator will be hosted at the pre match lunch • The schools will share a page in the match day programme • A community training session for any pupils of the schools associated to that game get a 1 hour community coaching session at 1330 hours

  6. Community Rugby continued • CV Leagues are continuing • London Irish will deliver a 5 week program to 8 schools • Free equipment for these 8 schools • Teacher education session to all schools in Basingstoke and Deane • CV after schools club will begin • February London Irish camp, over 50 players £10 cash back pp, over 100 players £12 cash back pp • Introduction of new CRC MrArron Hood

  7. Rebranding • To increase Basingstoke Rugbys identity within the community • To give a sense of belonging for U6 to 1st XV whether you are a male or female • To achieve our vision • To answer the members call

How do we achieve reducing the costs? • SUPPORT US? • The challenge is exciting, we need everyone of you and us to cast our net as wide as possible to give the community / commercial element of the town an opportunity to support Basingstoke Rugby and get their brand on our kit. Sell, sell and sell. • 1% for a lead that comes to fruition • 5% for selling a package • Everything must go!!
