On August 3, 2012, we conducted an orientation and demonstration for the beta version of the CHNA Target Area Tool. Participants learned about the selection process for core indicators, discussed potential pre-loaded “starter” maps, and outlined the beta testing process. We explored how to find target areas using key indicators like poverty rate and educational attainment. The session emphasized next steps, including upcoming webinars, the online workgroup dialogue, and beta testing expectations. Join us through September for community-driven enhancements to improve health assessment tools.
