FY 2013 IBP Progress ReportFor Projects Funded July 1, 2012 • Project Title: Departmental hourly support. • Amount Funded: $17,940 • Project Status: • Ongoing • Hired part-time Orientation Specialist to train and supervise Orientation Leaders and to make Quick Connect presentations throughout the year. • 14,572 participated in Orientation this past year.
FY 2014 Base Request • Project Title: Orientation Supplies • Folders, mileage for Orientation Leaders, and food for Spring Connections and CampusConnects. • Core Theme: Student Access and Success • Orientation is mandatory for all new students. • Dollars Requested: $3,400 • Justification; • Orientation attendance has increased by 58% since 2010 – 11, requiring us to purchase additional supplies. • Because of the increased price of food at the College, we need additional funds to maintain our current level of service and activities. • Project Outcome Measurements: • Attendance rates, enrollment rates and persistence to 2nd term rates
