Intellectual Insulation Indicator « 3i »

The 3i device is a portable and versatile device for on-line insulation condition estimation in various equipment. It comes with a delivery set, features 2-band PD, saves measured data for processing, offers routing technology, calculates equipment life, and has a reliable housing case. The new version 2 includes a lighter case, improved features, external synchronization, Wi-Fi interface, and remote control capability.

The Device Application • The multipurpose «3i» device is for on-line insulation condition estimation in the following equipment: • 6 ÷ 35 kV switchgears of various designs; • Terminations and joints of cables; • High-voltage gas-insulated equipment (Gas-Insulated switchgear, GIS) of any rated voltage; • The tanks of power transformers, breakers, etc.

  3. The «3i» Delivery Set • The standard delivery set: • Transport case, • The «3i» device, • Power supply, • USB cable, • Headphones, • CD with software. • Additionally can be equipped with external sensors «TEV», «RFCT» and acoustic.

The main features of device • 2-band PD - HF (0.5-100 MHz) and an acoustic - 40 kHz; • Save all of the measured data with the subsequent processing and viewing on a computer; • The possibility of using routing technology using RFID; • Possibility of calculating the life of equipment and the use of state of repair; • Capacity battery (more than 8 hours of measurement); • Reliable and secure housing case.

  17. Device settings low PD level, norm middle PD level, supervision high PD level, inspection alarm PD level, analysis The «3i» device can be configured using INVA Portable software.

  18. Configuring the routes In the software the user creates the folder structure similar to the enterprise structure and downloads it into the device.

  19. Configuring the routes For each point of the route or group of points can be specified the type of measurement and the thresholds.

  20. Download and view measurements The software allows you to store measurements from the device to the computer, view and build trends.

  21. Creating reports The program INVA Portable allows you to create three types of reports: • Report on the technical state of the equipment • Repair cycle report • Measurement cycle report • Report on the residual service life

  22. Report on the technical state of the equipment This report shows the excess values of warning and alarmthresholds.

  23. Repair cycle report This report shows the recommended timeof equipment repair.

  24. Measurement cycle report This report shows the time of the next measurement.

  25. Report on the residual service life This report shows the estimated residual life of the equipment.
