The challenges of Business aviation • General data • About 25 000 a/c WW • About 1800 Falcon of all types • Operated by about 1300 operators • Specificities • Almost One a/c - One operator • Different kind of "operators" (owner, crew, externally managed ops) • Mainly Private operations, volume of flight ops • Most of the time no structure (Ops, maintenance…) or SOP's • SMS ? FOCA ? • Anonymous ? Delayed analysis ? The OEM is called in for assistance Octobre 2012

DASSAULT Aviation Answer • Support & Promotion of FDM, FOCA and SMS • Safety & efficiency improvements • Internal organization • QAR installation • Indoctrination • then, "Thanks, but no thanks" ! • Recommended Service Providers • CAE FlightScape & RUAG • Specs & MOU • Direct and unique relationship with Falcon operators • But OEM still ready to assist any operator on request Octobre 2012

The Way Forward • Collection of Fleet data • Data belong to each operator • Type related fleet data would be extremely valuable : • Procedures • Environment • Design • Sure to compare orange to orange • Consolidated Fleet Data Feed Back used : • To update or amend Ops documentation, • To update, enrich or enhance training • To be used at Design Office level : • Type improvement • Key driver for new type Octobre 2012

To conclude : The A/C Manufacturer is concerned, interested and eager to continuously learn more about his models and the way they are operated.He is a key player and totally committed to achieve and maintain the highest level of safety of operations of its products.FDM is a major tool to provide inputs to fulfill this task Octobre 2012
