The Journal publishes peer-reviewed articles on recent developments in anesthesiology and pain management originating from all across the world. The Journal aims to provide a comprehensive coverage from basic experimental research outcomes to advanced clinical practices in patient health care and management. The published scholarly literature of the Journal forms a reliable and updated source of information for interventional pain physicians, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons and neurophysiologist as well as paramedical professionals involved in pain management. Established in the year 2018, the Journal has successfully produced two volumes of peer-reviewed article each composed of two issues. Recent publications of the Journal include original research articles on pain management in cancer, experimental rat model based study on the effect of atorvastatin, and effect of surface acoustic wave on trigeminal neuralgia. Manuscripts can be submitted at our online portal https://www.scholarscentral.org/submission/anesthesiology-pain-research.html or can be forwarded as an email attachment to our editorial office at publisher@hilarispublisher.com. The authors get the advantage of relatively faster manuscript processing with manuscript ID allocation within 72 hours of submission and publication of the article within 7 days of editorial acceptance.

Editorial Note for Journal of Anesthesiology and Pain Research I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of volume 2 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. During the calendar year 2019, JAPRE received a total of 9 papers, out of which 4 articles (44%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 5 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 2 issues of Volume 1 published during the year 2018, a total of 14 articles were published (at an average of 7 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. A total of 60 research scientists from all over the world reviewed the 36 articles published in volume 18. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 2-4 weeks. During the calendar year 2019, a total of 2 Editors, 12 Reviewers joined the board of JAPRE and contributed their invaluable services towards contribution as well as publication of articles. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Editor-in-Chief, Salah Mostafa Saleh Asida during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, Dr. Shantanu Vyas in bringing out issues of JAPRE in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JAPRE, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JAPRE and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 3 of JAPRE in scheduled time.
