    5. The objective of this project is to complete development of a prototype Integrated Network Test and Configuration Tool (INTACT ) for portable command and control systems (PC2S). Conduct a survey of literature related to automated network testing and configuration tools and available system software. The team shall develop a set of specifications for a demonstration system and test environment including the requirements for INTACT 2, how INTACT 2 components communicate and how these interact with system under test. Statement of Work (SOW)

    6. System design/integration: Based on the requirements, the team shall design and integrate the INTACT 2 components. System testing: The team shall develop test plans and procedures and carry out testing of the INTACT 2 in laboratory and field settings. Demonstration: The team shall demonstrate the INTACT 2. Report: Document evolution of the project and create a user’s manual. SOW continued

First round of tasks: Use OTS programs to manually test and configure network connections ipconfig Ping, WS_Ping ProPack PuTTY SoftPerfect Network Scanner Create set of automatic scripts which will invoke these OTS programs to test the network connections in various ways. ECE 191 WI-08 website still not up, have been in contact with TA to resolve. Recent update: WI-08 website is not available. Work w/ instructor or mentor to retrieve project materials. Project needs

    12. Continue research and familiarization with OTS network test solutions Learn to use “Phantom” task automation software and scripting language Begin configuration of lab components to build a working network. Download and begin learning ActivePerl Tasks for Week 4
