The term is generally used to describe data centres available to many users over the Internet. Large clouds, predominant today, often have functions distributed over multiple locations from central servers.   7. The Public Cloud is described as computing services offered by third-party providers over the Internet The Private cloud is described as computing services offered either over the Internet or a private internal network and only to selective users

  8. The Hybrid Cloud is a computing environment that combines a public cloud and a private cloud allowing sharing of data between them The Community Cloud is a collaborative effort where infrastructure is shared between several organizations from a specific community with common concerns.

  9. Service Models A service model is reference model that deliver certain cloud services. There are 3 types of Service Models: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Platform as a Service (PaaS) Software as a Service (SaaS)

Service Models Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) An online service that provide high-level APIs used to dereference various low-level details of underlying network infrastructure like physical computing resources, location, data partitioning, scaling, security, backup etc.* Platform as a service (PaaS) A category of cloud computing services that provides a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage applications without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure.* Software as a service (SaaS) A software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted.
