Staff Upgrading Skills • Legislative and Institute requirements eg OH&S, Project Management, Record Keeping • Changes to Training Package or qualifications required for delivery eg Screen and Media (Interactive Digital Media)
Upgrading Skills (Implementation) • Identified by teaching section and/or ADBs and HT OR Support Unit • Group/individual Learning Plan • Approved by ADEPs and College Directors OR Line Manager • Workforce Development Unit notified and final approval • Enrolment using TWG code
Top Up Classes • Course being conducted and vacancies exist AND competencies align to one or more of the five capability areas of the Workforce Development Guarantee AND a vacancy exists NB This does not apply to Cert IV TAA
Top-Up Classes (Implementation) • Individual identifies course and enrols in mainstream course – excluding TAA Cert IV • Enrolment using TWG • Attend as per normal class
