CRAVEN COUNTY SCHOOLS STRATEGIC PLAN2018-2023 DEVELOPMENT PROCESS FEBRUARY – DECEMBER 2018 • Convened a 30-Member Strategic Planning Committee • Each school and each position represented • Digital Convergence Framework (Modern Teacher) • 6 Key Drivers: Leadership, Instructional Models, Modern Curriculum, Professional Learning, Digital Ecosystems, (Community) • Established Cross-Functional Teams around each area of the drivers to establish goals for the draft of the strategic plan • Throughout Fall 2018, each school was presented the plan and feedback was solicited to clarify plan and prioritize goals

  7. Community engagement and leadership Craven County Schools will lead and model civic engagement through open and aligned communication and relationships across our community.

  8. Operations and resources Craven County Schools will model a high performing organizational culture aligning the work of schools and the district to ensure the learning of our students and educators.
