Goals of Technology Plan • Goal #1: Promote integration of technology in curriculum • Goal #2: Provide professional development to staff • Goal #3: Provide effective leadership and support • Goal #4: Maintain an effective infrastructure for networking
Goal #1 – Objectives to address: • Integrate technology • 100% access for students and teachers • Access in classroom to multimedia software • Positive impact on parental involvement
Goal #2 – Objectives to address: • Provide appropriate professional development to further multimedia needs • Ensure that all staff meets or exceeds SBED standards
Goal #3 - Objectives to address: • Provide support and leadership for inclusion to classroom. • Use student online management technology to improve efficiency. • Encourage community involvement • Improve adult literacy programs
Goal #4 – Objectives to address: • Encourage good communication • Provide safe and secure environment • Have all staff at or above Advanced Tech level on STaR standards
Conclusion • From our chart and goals, you can see that we have a ways to go but we are still making progress. We as a district also have a 3 year budgeted plan to meet and exceed TEA’s standards and requirements to ensure our children will be ready to be 21st Century Learners.
