  3. Pretérito • A single event (Something that happened once.) Ejemplo: Fui a Madrid el sábado.

  4. One or more events or actions that began and ENDED in the past. Ejemplo: Fui a Madrid y compré un boleto para ir a Salamanca.

  5. An event that occurred, interrupting another action Ejemplo: …cuando me dijeron la verdad.

  6. Changes in an existing physical or mental state at a precise moment for a particular isolated cause. Ejemplo: Tuve miedo cuando vi el perro.

Las palabras claves • Un día- 1 day • Unavez- 1 time • Ayer- yesterday • Hace un año- it’s been a year • Ya- Already • El martes- On Tuesday • El mespasado- Last month • Anteayer- The day before yesterday • Porunahora- For an hour • Por fin- Finally • A lasocho- At 8 o’clock • El 5 de febrero- On February 5th • Anoche- Last night • De repente- Suddenly
