ERS in Sweden • In Sweden a service oriented architecture (SOA) is chosen • A client on the fishing vessel sends logbook data through satellite or internet. • There is a service bus that validates the data and routes accordingly. • Web-services then receives the reports and stores the data in the database. • There has been a lot of work interpreting the regulations and implementing them in this architecture.
