Treatment Drain infected area Antibiotics: penicillins , cephalosporins, erythromycin, clindamycin, vancomycin Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA): Resistance to penicillinase resistance group of antibiotics like methicillin. Hospital acquired infections, Vancomycin drug of choice.
