  2. Working In Pairs Starter Use the internet to find out what A hyperlink is used for? Use ‘Microsoft Word’ to write down your answer

  3. What is a Hyperlink? • A link from a hypertext document (HTML) to another location (a webpage, activated by clicking on a highlighted word or image.

  4. Lesson Objectives • (WALT) We are learning to: • To work through the Lesson 3 Worksheet. • To create two individual web pages which link together. • (WILF) What I’m looking for • To complete the worksheet showing an understanding of HTML tags and how to link webpages together.

  5. Main Activity • Go to the VLE and Open the File named “Lesson 3 – Worksheet”

  6. Plenary & Homework • Make a list of any tags you find hard to use. • Practise making a webpage ready for the assessment next week. (Remember you can only use notepad/notepad++) • The criteria you could achieve consists of: • 3.4 - Pupils present data in a systematic way (HTML Coding) • 4.2 - Pupils represent different types of data: Text, Number, Instruction (Create a Table in your webpage) • 4.3 - Pupils understand the need for care and precision of syntax and typography when giving instructions. (Question regarding tags) • 5.2 - Pupils create a design solution to a given task – (A HTML Page) • 6.7 – Pupils are capable of independently writing or debugging a short program (Make your own HTML page with no help using all tags suggested).
