2. Once upon a time
3.
there were 16 divas
The girls were chosen to become creativity scholars.
As part of the Ideas Foundation Creativity Scholarship program.
4.
and the first workshop begins
The girls were visited by David, who was very generous in giving them a free creativity kit.
5.
with fun and surprises
6.
work continued, and the industry workshop began
7.
and together with it came knowledge and understanding..
8.
and the research began
The divas in their groups each chose a retail company, they were:
New Look
Harrods
Paul Smith
Shellys
We visited each, at each we were helped with the research and our themes.
9.
workshop three approached
The divas began to expand their creativity and began designing bags for their retail shop.
10.
and so did the creative minds
11.
sadly the last workshop approached
Eventually 4 bags were produced, BANG!
12.
and with it came confidence
13.
the first day of work had come, pressure was on for two weeks
Were out of school for two weeks! WOOHOO!...
But into the workhouse!
AAARGH!
14.
our task
The divas were given the brief of making a window display representing their retailer and combine it with the Chinese, Beijing and Olympic theme.
15.
research had to be done
The divas visited west end
they checked a few window displays and described them.
16.
props had to be thought
They started on their props. Greg helped them through the battle
17.
props were made and presentations were on the way
18.
windows began to look sophisticated
Each group choose their window, to fit their company style. Each group working at their own pace.
19.
and props were put up
All four props had been made. End of!
Sues suggestions were taken on board.
20.
clothes were arranged
Depending on the retailer each group had to come up with clothes and accessories to liven their window.
21.
windows finally began to look familiar
. Each group was getting closer to their final display; props were hung, clothes had been displayed on mannequins and decorated by extra accessories. WOW!
22.
nerves were rising
Film cameras were in for real! Presentations rehearsed and presented
winner had to be decided
But who was it???
23. Was it Shelley's?
24. Or New Look?
25. Maybe Paul Smith?
26. Or even Harrods?
27. The winner was
28.
but the most important thing was
29.
the experience
