  3. Where to start? - access iSearch at the HKIEd Library Websitehttp://www.lib.ied.edu.hk Enter the keywords, article title, author or name of the book and start searching

  8. Display the Subject List by Clicking “Show More” under Subject

  9. We can also search by Subject Terms with Advanced Search Directly. E.g. Subject Terms = youth hong kong and(drug or藥); Limited to Library Catalogue Only

  10. Click on “Subject” or “Author” hyperlinks to expand your search results to publications with the same subject or author

Search for Journal ArticlesHands-on: • Try using iSearch or other e-databases to search for literatures related to the following themes on adolescent issues: • Physical appearance, body image, weight control, sexual behavior, friendship, dating, intimate relationship, pornography, gender stereotypes, gender equity, sense of responsibility, conformity versus self determination, stress management, emotions and you, volunteer work, youth unemployment, internet addiction, internet kids (隱蔽少年), conflicts with parents, sibling rivalry, autonomy versus dependence, family harmony, risk-taking involving anti-social behavior such as bullying, gambling, shoplifting, peer groups and gangs, substance abuse, smoking, alcohol as well as assertiveness and refusal skills.
