  1. VACUUM STEAM HEATING CONTROLS With • Built-in Vacuum Pump Control • Motorized Valve with Feed Back Positioning Control • Remote Communication Option SRCPlatinum Description: A unique Microprocessor Control to manage a Vacuum Steam Heating System with a Steam Boiler, a Two-way Motorized Valve, and a Vacuum Pump Based on System and Outdoor Temperatures. The SRC Platinum Control provides buildings with comfortable, even heat, yet maximizing fuel savings. Not only that, but it incorporates many additional features and flexibilities that can be customized to each building’s unique characteristics. CUL US R ENCLOSED ENERGY MANAGEMENT EQUIPMENT LISTED 99RA • Designed with Vacuum Steam Heating in mind. The SRC Platinum control is designed to utilize a 2-way steam motorized valve (either with feed back positioning sensor or time based), a boiler (either burner or district steam) and a vacuum pump. Each has a set of pre configured, but adjustable settings to meet the specific needs of each building. The SRC will reduce fuel costs while maintaining a more comfortable space temperature. • Modulates a 2-Way Steam Motorized Valve. The SRC Platinum control varies the motorized valve opening percentage dynamically based on changes in outdoor and system status. • Optional Remote Communication Add-On with Modem or Internet Connection Package. Imagine being able to not just control your building heat from anywhere, but to be able to see boiler status, valve opening % and temperature logs. In addition to being able to change schedules, set and monitor wireless and hard wired sensors, configure and receive alarms, activate or deactivate sensors, and more. Well, imagine no more. The SRC Platinum can be ordered with any of the communication packages that fit your needs. With the optional communication packages you can configure, set alarms and monitor a variety of sensors ranging from wireless, water and gas meters, oil level, temperature, pressure, vacuum, switch, and stack sensors. • Multiple Day and Night Schedules. The control has multiple adjustable day and night heat settings to help reduce fuel consumption. In addition, a built-in, 7 day programmable schedule, with 4 Day/Normal settings and 4 Night/Saving settings per day, to customize operation for even further temperature control and fuel savings. • Vari-Boost. To bring the building quickly back to comfortable temperatures after the cooler night period, the control has a built-in Boost feature. It allows the motorized valve to increase its output for a calculated time period based on outdoor temperature. This allows the temperature within the building to rise rapidly to comfortable levels. • Optional BACnet IP Communication. With the BACnet option, a SRC Platinum can act as node in a BACnet network. A proprietary communication EMS/BMS can use their BACnet integration to place the SRC Platinum on their network. • Auxiliary Output. Utilizing the integrated auxiliary output, the SRC Platinum can be configured to operate additional equipment or controls based on Vacuum Pump operation or on the Aux schedule settings. 2. • Memory. With a built-in EE Prom, the SRC Platinum will never lose your settings even after a power outage or loss of battery power. • Digital Display for all System Settings. The SRC Platinum’s 80 character alphanumeric digital display names each system parameter in plain English and shows its precise value. The easy to follow menu system allows users to quickly make changes to any system setting without having to learn any specialized codes or keyboard commands. Password protection is available to prevent unauthorized users from making adjustments to control settings. • Vari-Boost with Early Shutdown. Another saving feature, the SRC Platinum allows buildings to switch to Night mode earlier than scheduled during mild outdoor temperature. Features: • Use Existing Sensors and/or Wireless Sensors- (Additional sensor capability is available with Visual Gold or Internet Communication Package) • With any of the optional communication packages you can connect to as many as 64 additional sensors to the SRC Platinum. Some of these sensors can be fuel levels, stack temperature, or smoke detectors. • Built-in Outdoor Reset-For better comfort, the SRC controls building temperature based on Outdoor temperature. • Season changes (Summer / Winter)- Controls whether the SRC Platinum will operate and provide heat. • Thermal Lockout- is an additional feature that helps eliminate short cycling while providing more comfortable even heat. • Vacuum Pump Pre Vacuum. Allows the vacuum pump to generate enough vacuum prior to starting the building heat. • Vacuum Pump Post Vacuum. Allows the vacuum pump to continue operation to assure condensate return to boiler. • Built-in Prove and Shutdown- While the Shutdown can be used by other system components to active the SRC Platinum operation, the Prove can be used to check the status of other equipment, such as the end switch on a combustion air damper prior to firing the boiler. • Manual Shift- Allows for a temporary override of boiler operating schedule by switching from Day to Night or the opposite. • Fast Cycle- Another handy feature for troubleshooting that allows the control to cycle on seconds instead of minutes. • Remote Communication Option- Now you can connect your SRC Platinum panel to the Internet, BACnet IP, or to Visual Gold software, via phone modem or RS232, allowing you to read, change, monitor, and analyze your readings in a variety of ways from virtually anywhere. (Requires either the Visual Gold or the Internet communication option.) • Control other devices or Equipment- With the Aux Clock output you’ll have the ability to turn on or off other equipment on a customized secondary schedule. The schedule has a customizable 4 On and 4 Off settings per day. • Can connect to a Multi-MOD or SQ-Elite Sequencing control –Connected to the SQ-Elite allows it to control multiple single- stage boilers or multi-stage burners. When connected to the Multi-Mod it will control multiple modulating burners. • Interface with EMS / Energy Management Systems- The SRC Platinum can be enabled / disabled via EMS. • Bypass- Allows installers and contractors to test and override control settings when needed.
