  3. There were four routes on the Silk Road and they were all dangerous . When people in foreign countries first saw silk they were eager to pay large sums of money for it. Because silk was so popular and it traveled from China to Rome. The big routes became known as the silk road. People rode in camels and were in danger of robbers. The Silk Road

  4. The Chinese wanted various things that were precious to other countries so they traded off silk, tea, and rice for rubies, sand, and jewelry from the romans. Since china made silk (that was a really priceless) soft cloth that everybody wanted their hands on it so everybody traded with the Chinese. Silk was very attractive to other countries.
