  1. Ryan Randall Multimodal autobiography

  2. South Park • Over the years South Park has always been one of my favorite shows. Influence how some of my humor developed and what was deemed funny to my friends and myself.

  3. Lord of the Rings • Over the years my older brother, step dad and I always went to see the LOTR movies together. This created a stronger bond between us all helping our family relationships.

  4. Macklemore • When Macklemore first came out I had no idea who he was and my friends kept showing me his songs. Over time he became one of my favorite artists and the messages in his music. Plus he’s from Seattle so you have to represent for the west side of Washington.

  5. Track and Field • Starting track in elementary school it has always been a sport that I was roughly into. That interest dropped off during high school but came back senior year and now I am throwing hammer here at WSU.

  6. Football • Starting in elementary school football has always been a huge part of my life till after high school. Granted I still love watching games and all of that jazz. However, the importance is all of life lessons and personal qualities that football has taught me are the most important.

  7. Halo, the whole series (so far) • Growing up I can still remember how bad I wanted the first Halo game. My brother and I had to wait for about a year until we finally got an original Xbox and a copy. Since then we have always played through and beat each of the games together.

  8. Minecraft • Minecraft, an open world sandbox game for creating whatever you can think of basically. This game has helped me find a way to find a common ground with my younger brothers who are ten and twelve years younger than me.

  9. Working Out & Lifting Weights • Working out has become a big part of life through sports and wanting to better myself in general. Also, it feeds into culture with people worried about the obesity and avoiding it though working out.

  10. Rock/Metal • When you need to get jacked for that one lift, one game, one moment. Rock and metal were the answer for me growing up and both music types played a large role in shaping my musical tastes growing up.

  11. Rap • Rap music, currently being my favorite genre, has influenced my life greatly from when I started listening to it. From the sick beats of some songs to the deep lyrics of another. Or both combined one song. Rap music has influenced my life with a doubt.

  12. And that is some pop culture from my life… the end.
