  1. Multimodal Autobiography By: Carlos Gastelum

  2. Dear Mama My all time favorite song by rap artist Tupac Shakur, dedicated to his mother. It’s about a man who grows up with a “crack fiend” mom and no father. He expresses how he has much love towards his mother and knows there's always room for forgiveness because she’s the one who brought him into this world and has still been there for him even through his struggles.

  3. Growing up, my favorite cartoon to watch was Sponge Bob Square Pants because it was usually on early in the mornings after waking up. For those who don’t know, this cartoon is based off of a yellow sponge by the name of SpongeBob and his unseperatablebestfreind Patrick the star fish, who both live under the sea in a town called bikini bottom.

  4. Every Saturday my family would make it a tradition to get together, order and watch pay per view MMA (mixed martial arts) fights. As a part of it being a sport MMA caught my interest over any other sport because I thought to myself what’s better than watching two people put in an octagon (ring), looking to beat each other up with not only punches but knees and kicks!

  5. Football has been a part of my life since my first season in elementary school. As only my 1st year, my team and I made it to the playoffs and then ended up winning the championship game. Ever since then, I became inspired to play the sport through high school and it also motivated me to turn on my television every Sunday to watch the NFL games.

  6. A modern shooting game consisted of killing all types of zombies and trying to survive through various levels. My favorite weapon on this game is the ray gun because it instantly kills off a zombie but can end up killing you if aimed in the wrong direction

  7. My interest in rap music grew stronger as I began to listen to Christopher Wallace also known as “Biggie”. This song called “juicy” happens to be my favorite one of his all time songs lyrically. Sadly someone with such great talent, then had his life taken from him as he was in Los Angeles.

  8. My all-time Disney movie, about a clown fish in search of his son after he has been captured by divers. Dory the blue fish on the right is definitely my favorite character of the whole movie because she is just a naturally hilarious character who suffers from short term memory loss.

  9. Nikes have always been the shoes of my choice. They happen to be the only type of sneakers I buy because they just seem to fit my style and I’m sure there’s a pair out there that’s meant for you!

  10. A social media website that I’m sure most 90’s baby’s remember! It was also the first website where I learned how to keep in touch and communicate with friends over the internet. Although, like Facebook today it was also full of drama!

  11. It takes a lot for a show to catch my interest. This one called burn notice caught my eye because its full of action and useful information such as how to make homemade explosives.
