  6. Redenen voor DDTx • Niet oplosbare problemen m.b.t. de veneuze toegang. lijnsepsis, trombose • Geen acceptabele kwaliteit van leven t.g.v. de TPN • Geen optie meer tot verbetering enterale voedingsintake • Dreigend irreversibel leverlijden

  7. Reden screening • Is een transplantatie noodzakelijk? • Zijn er contra-indicaties? • Zijn er specifieke problemen? Bijv.: hartafwijkingen, nier afwijkingen, Infectieproblemen • Tijdstip van transplantatie?

  8. Wachtlijst • Aanmelden Eurotransplant • Wachttijd kinderen 2 jaar • Wachttijd volwassenen 6 mnd- 1 jaar • Poli controle • Kinderen 6-8 weken • Volwassene afhankelijk van de conditie vd de patiënt • Zorgen dat patiënt in goede conditie blijft • Tijdig signaleren van complicaties

  9. Aandachtspunten postoperatief • Infectiegevoelig • Voeding1: TPN / enteraal • Voeding 2: dieet /normaal eten • Ileostoma • Isolatiemaatregelen • Psycho-sociaal

  10. Ileostoma • Scopieren • Output • Kleur stoma • Complicatie: prolaps. • Continuïteitsherstel: na 1jaar

  11. Medicatie • Prednison • Neoral (Ciclosporine) • Prograft (FK506 of tacrolimus) • Cell-cept (Mofetil) • Imuran (Azathioprine)

  12. Bijwerkingen • Hoge bloeddruk • Overbeharing • Tandvlees hypertrofie • Diabetes • Botontkalking • Diarree

  13. Ontslag • Patiënt/ouders kennen werking en bijwerkingen van de medicijnen • Patiënt/ouders kunnen lichaamscontroles uitvoeren en interpreteren • Patiënt/ouders weten wanneer ze contact op moeten nemen met het UMCG.

  14. ± 1000 patiënten getransplanteerd wereldwijd • 5 jaars overleving: rond 50 %
