Why is this Research so Cool? • Examples of today’s invisible computers: • Shoe-embedded pedometer • Voice-programmable VCR • Training bike with GPS, speedometer, and heart rate sensor • Computers will • fade into the background • will aid us in everyday tasks • Intelligently communicate with each other • Off-load as many tasks/concerns as possible
