Key messages – Fundamentals preaching to the choir • Be consistent – Mission, Vision, Values ( LDI ) • Unifying forms and processes for easy access • Unifying forms and processes for easy MAINTENANCE (HR) • Biggest impact is at the bedside • Coaches and Mentors are always around • Constant course corrections • Catch people doing good and bad   Have a coaching moment • Central access for point for managers, for employees, Coaches • When writing an appraisal – central access point for self evaluations, multi rater evaluations, past appraisals, succession planning • Add Development plans to align competencies and fix weaknesses

Key messages – Fundamentals Preaching to the choir - Con’t • Develop Critical Roles – Grow the talent • Drive engagement – how do we get our kid to care? get involved • Pay for performance – we all know it is coming and rolling down hill • Be consistent across departments and units • Don’t measure everything – Measure what matters ( LDI ) • Eliminate the admin nightmare – The Kodak moment doesn’t work • Look at trends – drill into the details • Find organizational strengths and weaknesses • Coaches need to be more than just the person with the whistle these days
