This paper reviews a nephron-sparing technique known as LESS (Laparoendoscopic Single-Site Surgery) based on a study conducted from 09/2008 to 02/2012. The study involved 21 cases of LESS unclamp NSS, showcasing positive outcomes in terms of operative time, blood loss, port placement, scar size, and complications. The analysis of the literature includes insights from 7 studies with 104 cases, highlighting the potential benefits and cost-effectiveness of the LESS technique compared to standard laparoscopic procedures.

Analysisof the literature • 7 studies; 104 cases LESS NSS • LESS technique duplicate the VLP • Intraoperative and postoperative variables overlapping the standard lap • Prospective studies to define the real benefits and the cost-effectiveness
