UPON ARRIVAL AT EACH SUPPLIER • Pull your trailer into the designated loading / unloading door • If necessary , Notify someone on the dock of your arrival • At first stop, ask for faxed pickup cards if necessary • Enter the dock to observe the unloading / loading of your trailer • IF THE SUPPLIER DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO ENTER THE DOCK LOADING/UNLOADING AREA YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR DISPATCH IMMEDIATELY! RETURNABLE CONTAINERS • Ensure the Returnable Containers are unloaded and re - loaded properly • If this is one of many stops, the supplier will likely have to unload other suppliers containers as well as their own, load their material, then re-load the Returnable Containers for other suppliers • If there are any discrepancies with the containers delivered, have the supplier make the necessary corrections to the Returnable Container Delivery Receipt • Give the supplier a copy of the Returnable Container Delivery Receipt for their records, obtain a signature on your copy to return to Dispatch at the end of your route WI-13

  4. FREIGHT VERIFICATION • Using your Driver Card and the supplier generated packing lists, verify by part number and quantity the material that has been staged at the supplier. If you are not allowed on the dock to verify the freight, the bills should be signed SLC (shipper load and count). • During the verification process you will need to check for the following; • Container type • Part Numbers • Standard pack quantity • Container count • NOTE: You may verify the above by the Master Label ( when applicable ) that has been placed on the freight • DLOC ( in plant routing ) is located on the AIAG label • AIAG label conforms to GM standards • Ensure the material is packaged properly and there is no apparent damage to the containers • If any damaged material has been noted, request the supplier replaces the damaged if it can be done within the window time • If the damaged can not be replaced timely, note the damage on the packing slip and advise your Dispatch WI-13

TRAILER LOADING • Supervise the loading of your trailer and check for the following; • Ensure the complete shipment has been loaded • If there are any loose cartons, they must be placed on the “Mixed Pallet” skid located on the rear of the trailer • Ensure the material has been stacked properly to prevent any damage or shifting during transit • Supervise the reloading of remaining empty Returnable Containers if any • Sign all shipping documents after the above is complete. If you are not allowed on the dock to verify the freight, the bills should be signed SLC (shipper load and count). WI-13

  6. SUPPLIER NON-CONFORMANCES All supplier non-conformances must be documented and reported to your Dispatch before leaving the supplier. These may be any of the following; • Dock door not available within 15 min of your scheduled arrival time, or your departure time is late due to the trailer loading process is not complete ( more than 15 minutes late) • Shipment is not ready upon arrival (not staged) • Any damaged containers • Staged quantities are more or less than the required per your Drivers Card • NOTE: Over ships must be approved by your dispatch, the supplier may be required to remove the extra material and adjust their paperwork. • Standard pack quantities are not consistent • Non-compliant packaging, supplier using expendables • AIAG label or DLOC is incorrect or missing • Supplier refuses to handle other suppliers Returnable Containers WI-13

  7. COMMUNICATION • You must contact Dispatch (800-526-9892) at each stop and provide them with the following information; • Arrival and departure times • What you picked up, including part numbers, quantities, SID’s (shipment identification numbers) or Bill of lading • Any supplier non-conformances • These may cause redirection given to you by your Dispatch • Any delays in your route (breakdowns, traffic, etc.) WI-13

  8. UPON ARRIVAL AT DESTINATION FACILITY Upon delivery at destination point: • Check in at office and receive dock door designation • Turn in all necessary paperwork to clerk: returnable container receipts, pickup cards, and packing slips • Follow all posted safety procedures at delivery facility • Proceed to CMC or designated point to pickup return trailer • Check in at office and receive paperwork for return trailer WI-13
