  2. This is how we’ll be for Group Work. I like Group Work, so don’t mess this up!!! Activity: Groups

  3. In Groups, I will give you a question or activity. You will discuss and share with your group. So, you will need to have conversations. Conversation: yes

  4. If you are confused or need clarification, ask your Group first. Then, if needed, ask another Group. THEN, you raise your hand and ask me. Remember: Collaboration! Learn to work with others (get over that nasty look she gave you, she had something in her eye, it’s not personal. Get over it). Help: Ask your Group!

  5. I will be clear on what I expect of your Group. Please make sure you complete what I ask you. Integrity: Follow the instructions

  6. This is not the time to talk about that movie you saw, or which shoes you want to buy. Stay on task!!! Effort: Stay on Task!

  7. This is your opportunity to learn! There’s me teaching (that’s the Large Group), and then there’s you LEARNING (that’s now). Discuss what you heard or saw. Compare your notes. Correct each other’s mistakes. Start making the information yours. Value: Process Information

  8. Remember, we don’t have much time. Get your stuff done. Efficiency: Focus!
