  25. Asset Insight Index (“AI2”) What is the Asset Insight Index? The “Asset Insight Index” (“AI2 Index”) utilizes the Asset Grading System Standard (Patent Pending) to objectively derive the: • “Asset Technical Condition Score” (“ATC Score”) • The aircraft’s technical status relative to its Optimal Maintenance Condition • “Asset Technical Financial Condition Score” (“ATFC Score”) • The aircraft’s financial rating relative to its Optimal Maintenance Condition • “Asset Technical Financial Exposure Value” (“ATFE Value”) • The aircraft’s financial exposure based on its Maintenance Condition How does the Asset Insight Index work? • The anticipated maintenance variables for each specific aircraft make/model are identified, including all recommended Scheduled Maintenance events • The average Industry Cost for accomplishing each maintenance task/event is identified • The aircraft’s maintenance history is then compiled and compared against that make/model aircraft’s maintenance requirements, and the aircraft’s ATC Score and ATFC Score are derived • Based on the aircraft’s ATC & ATFC Scores, the aircraft’s ATFE Value is computed, deriving the aircraft’s Asset Insight Index

  26. Asset Technical Condition Score (“ATC Score”) What is the ATC Score? The “Asset Technical Condition Score” (“ATC Score”) utilizes the Asset Grading System Standard (Patent Pending) to evaluate and grade an aircraft’s maintenance condition relative to logical maintenance variables, not the least of which is the aircraft’s Scheduled Maintenance Program. The ATC Score ranges from -5.000 to 10.000, the latter figure reflecting a new aircraft. How does the ATC Score work? To score each aircraft model/type, several variables, including the Scheduled Maintenance Program established by the aircraft’s manufacturer and/or other regulatory authority (e.g., the FAA—Federal Aviation Administration) are compiled, and a frequency (grading standard) is established for specifically identified scheduled/anticipated maintenance events. For components that do not have specific service life (replacement) limitations, a service life figure has been established based on anticipated industry failure rate averages. An aircraft’s maintenance history is then compiled and compared against the ATC Maintenance Program to determine the aircraft’s ATC Score.

  27. Asset Technical Financial Condition Score (“ATFC Score”) What is the ATFC Score? The “Asset Technical Financial Condition Score” (“ATFC Score”) utilizes the Asset Grading System Standard (Patent Pending) to determine an aircraft’s financial rating relative to its Optimal Maintenance Condition. The ATFC Score is based on a scale from 0.000 to 10.000, the latter reflecting a new aircraft. How does the ATFC Score work? To score each aircraft model/type, the aircraft’s ATC Score, is calculated. The aircraft’s ATC Score is then compared to the average industry cost for each scheduled maintenance event to determine the aircraft’s ATFC Score. The ATFC Score differs from the ATC Score. While the ATC Score evaluates and grades an aircraft’s technical condition relative to its logical maintenance variables, the ATFC Score grades an aircraft’s financial condition relative to its Optimal Maintenance Condition. Accordingly, the ATFC is likely to differ from the ATC Score. For example, if one aircraft component is three-quarters of the way toward its overhaul while a second is one-quarter of the way toward its overhaul, their combined ATC Score would be 5.000. However, if the first of these component has an overhaul cost of $10,000, while the second has an overhaul cost of $1,000, their combined ATFC Score would be 2.955.   28. Asset Technical Financial Exposure Value (“ATFE Value”) What is the ATFE Value? The “Asset Technical Financial Exposure Value” (“ATFE Value”) utilizes the Asset Grading System Standard (Patent Pending) to measure the aircraft’s accrued liability relative to its maintenance condition – the “Time Used” toward future Scheduled Maintenance Events. The ATFE Value depends on each make/model/type aircraft, and ranges from $0 (for a new aircraft with zero time used toward any Scheduled Maintenance Event) to the estimated cost required to complete one full cycle of Scheduled Maintenance Events for that make/model/type aircraft. How does the ATFE Value work? To derive an aircraft’s ATFE Value, the estimated cost to complete all of the Scheduled Maintenance Events for that make/model/type aircraft is established. The amount accrued toward each Scheduled Maintenance Event (based on the calendar time, flight hours, and/or cycles, as appropriate, for the aircraft under evaluation) is calculated, and the amount of usage is converted into a dollar value. The sum cost of the usage (accrued liability) toward all Scheduled Maintenance Events (for the aircraft under evaluation) is then computed to derive the ATFE Value. For illustration purposes, let’s assume a make/model/type aircraft has only four Scheduled Maintenance Events. The corresponding ATFE Value for an aircraft, having accrued the listed “Time Used” toward each of the Scheduled Maintenance Events, would be as follows: : Time UsedEvent CostATFE Value Event #1 25% $20,000 $ 5,000 Event #2 10% $ 5,000 $ 500 Event #3 90% $10,000 $ 9,000 Event #4 75% $ 1,000$ 750 $36,000$15,250 The example aircraft’s ATFE Value is $15,250.

Aircraft Major Sector AI2 Analysis • What is a Major Sector AI2 Analysis? • In addition to the Asset Insight Index for the entire aircraft, an AI2 analysis (ATC Score, ATFC Score, and ATFE Value) is available for the aircraft’s Major Sectors. These would include (as applicable): • Airframe • Engine(s) • APU • Propeller(s) • Aircraft Interior • Exterior Paint • How do the Major Sector ATC/ATFC Scores and ATFE Value work? • The Asset Insight Index for each Major Sector is computed utilizing the Asset Grading System Standard (Patent Pending) and the same logic as that used to derive figures for the entire aircraft. The Major Sector Index offers an interested party the opportunity to closely analyze what Sector(s) of the aircraft are aiding or hampering the asset’s overall Index, offering the opportunity to derive a strategy that optimizes the asset’s financial performance.

  30. Comparable Industry Average Index What is the Comparable Industry Average Asset Insight Index? The Comparable Industry Average Index (“Comp Index”) provides the ability to compare the aircraft’s ATC Score, ATFC Score, and ATFE Value with similar aircraft listed for sale as of a specific date. How does the Comparable Industry Average Asset Insight Index work? To provide the Comp Index for each aircraft make/model, Asset Insight continuously reviews and evaluates aircraft listed for sale. For entities seeking to acquire or sell an aircraft, the Comp Index allows them to determine how the technical condition of a specific aircraft compares to the average aircraft available for sale. Similarly: • Financial Services firms can determine how the technical condition of an aircraft to be financed compares with others available for sale; • Brokers can better understand how the technical condition of aircraft they are offering for sale compare with others on the market; • Appraisers can better understand how the technical condition of an aircraft they are appraising compares with others listed for sale – and with aircraft recently traded; • Maintenance facilities can demonstrate to clients how their aircraft’s AI2 Index compares with similar make/model aircraft listed “For Sale”; and, • Insurers can determine if the technical condition of assets they are covering are degrading, as well as how their technical condition compares to similar assets.
