  2. Sochi Strays • The stray dogs in Sochi are in great danger. Because of the Olympics, people of Russia have been killing dogs to make this town look “nicer” for the Olympians. There are so many stray puppies and dogs that they don’t know what to do with them. Some people(including Russians) are trying to save them.

  3. Two U.S Olympians fell in love with the dogs after seeing them and brought them back to America. • One Olympian snowboarder was named Lindsey Jacobellis. • The other was Gus Kenworthy (a skier). He brought home 4 Puppies and the mother of them. 5 dogs!

  4. The “Big Easy” is not so easy • Lots of dogs in New Orleans have lost their homes after the devastating hurricane Katrina. Lots of the dogs now live on the streets and there are so many that need saving.

  5. Scruffy Mutt Rescue • My aunts Kendall and Diana rescue dogs in New Orleans. • They have a company named Scruffy Mutt Rescue and they help find homes for the dogs. • This is my aunt Kendall’s dog Chico. He was rescued by her after Katrina.

  6. How can we save the dogs? • There are so many dogs in the world that are in shelters and they need saving. By adopting one, you can not only have a pet but you are saving their life.

  7. Don’t Make the Puppies Pout • All over the world there are dogs that don’t have homes. But all that can be changed by some effort. The people that I have talked about really care for them and I think everyone should. Dogs are a man’s best friend.
