The Union College EDGE Workshop is a residential summer program for high school girls in grades 10-12 interested in engineering. This program, led by Professor Cherrice Traver, offers classroom modules, engineering design studio, industry tours, and social activities to explore the field of engineering.

Program Overview First offering: 2002 Eligibility: Girls in grades 10-12 Enrollment: 14-22 Usually offered the last two weeks in July Tuition – has varied depending on grant funding, currently $2000 with opportunity for 50% scholarships
Objectives What is Engineering? What do Engineers do? Can I do Engineering? Would I like Engineering? What are the Engineering options?
