  1. www.happyfacesvadodara.com Helping Hands NGO There is a list of Child NGOs in Vadodara, some topping the list are- Pratibha Foundation, Shroffs Foundation Trust, Narayan Seva Sansthan, MoDe India, The Power of One Welfare Foundation etc. Eight months ago, a five-year-old girl went missing when she was playing near the slums in Samta area in Vadodara. She is yet to be traced. Her parents did not even have her photograph, thus making it more difficult to search for her. A similar incident occurred in the same area few days ago when another five-year-old girl sating in the slums went missing when she was playing outside the house. Though

Concerned over these incidents, a city based NGO has begun a project to document children staying in the slum areas. “Usually the kids staying in the slum areas play near the roads or in open plots. Thepossibility of them being kidnapped is more and if the parents do not have a photo of their child, it becomes almost impossible to carry out the search operation. So this Child NGO in Vadodara, decided to take photos of all the children up to the age of 15 years, along with their height, weight and other important details. The Vision of Helping Hands NGO in India is overcoming poverty, and ensuring a life of dignity and security for the marginalized populations, In association with local mandirs, Masjids, Gurudwaras, churches and NGOs, their team serves the poor with practical programs that meed needs for shelter, food, clothing, clean water, education, medical care, sustainability, friendship, encouragement and hope. Helping Hands NGO are soon going to build old age home. This “home away from home” would enable the orphans, widows/ aged persons to lead a self reliant, dignified and secured life.
