  • Emmett Tillwas a 14 year old black boy from Chicago. He came to Money, Mississippi to visit relatives. On August 28, 1955 Emmett Till was brutally murdered for “whistling” at a white woman. Despite overwhelming evidence, his killers were set free after a short trial. The case fired up the nation.
