  2. Library Home Page • Welcome to the library homepage. Click to begin your search of the OED (Oxford English Dictionary).

  3. OED • The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is widely regarded as the accepted authority on the English language. It is an unsurpassed guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of 600,000 words past and present, and from across the English-speaking world. • All students will need to ask the library staff for the username and password in order to sign in. • Your library card # may work as well.

  4. OED • For this example we are going to search for the term Literary Criticism. • Type in the term and click Go.

  5. OED • Want we discover is the definition, part of speech, quotes, and other phase with one of your search terms.

  6. OED • If you have any questions or problems logging in feel free to ask the library staff. If you are having problems then someone else more than likely someone else is as well. Let us know and we will help you out.
