ACE/ITDS Status • Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) operational at all 99 land border ports of entry • Processing approximately 190,000 trucks nationally per week • More than 15,500 ACE Secure Data Portal accounts • Collecting approximately 50 percent of all duties and fees via the periodic monthly statement process • More than $36 billion collected via ACE since 2004 • 46 International Trade Data System (ITDS) Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) • Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) • More than 500 ACE Secure Data Portal end users from 27 PGAs • 36 PGAs have provided an implementation plan to fully utilize ITDS by 2009 as directed by OMB • CBP designated managing partner of ITDS E-Government initiative by OMB

Program Re-Planning Efforts • Program re-planning efforts are ongoing • Revised cost/schedule estimates being based on: • Full impact of M1 delay on all remaining releases • Applicable findings from independent review • Scope prioritization efforts • Funding constraints • Further division of drops into more frequently deployed “sub-drops” • Next Steps • Finalize ACE cost and schedule estimates for future releases • Obtain leadership concurrence • Publish revised schedule and program plan

Deployed new ACE Secure Data Portal enhancements and reference data in support of upcoming Rail and Sea Manifest (M1) capabilities Carriers can now view Continuous Bond data New In-Bond Authorization tab for ocean, rail, and truck carriers Carriers are asked not to use this capability until detailed instructions and training are provided by CBP Ocean carriers can view ACS uploaded vessel information via a Conveyances tab Ocean carriers are asked not to use this capability until detailed instructions and training are provided by CBP A new reference file allows users to search the United Nations Location Code file by Air Port Code, UN Location Code Name, Foreign Port Code, and U.S. District Port Code A new MMM 6005 UN Location Code report is now available New ACE Portal Features

New “Shared Reports” folder Available with M1, this capability will allow ACE account holders to share reports within their account Updated ACE Data Dictionaries Dictionaries are being expanded to include more than 1,200 new data elements Available in mid-2009 Changes to ACS Lacey Act Oman Free Trade Agreement Peru Free Trade Agreement In Progress
