  2. 100% Zone Chairperson • Responsibilities 1. Serve as chairman of the zone’s District Governor’s Advisory Committee—all club presidents and secretaries in the zone are members. 2. Attend all scheduled meetings and conferences of the district.

  3. 100% Zone Chairperson 3. Visit each club one or more times early in the year to become familiar with the membership, activities, needs and well-being of each club. 4. Hold three or four zone meetings during the year, promoting the goals and activities of the district, multiple district and international.

  4. 100% Zone Chairperson 5. File reports with the district regularly following club visits, zone meetings and in relation to needs and problems in clubs. 6. Promote the exchange of ideas on programs, projects, activities and fund-raising methods between clubs.

  5. 100% Zone Chairperson Calendar July—Prepare for the job of Zone Chair and make contact with each club in the zone with a letter of introduction or phone call. July-September—Schedule and make visit(s) to each club and file a report with the district (Club Status Report).

  6. 100% Zone Chairperson September—Hold first zone meeting (Preceded by notice of meeting and agenda, followed by zone meeting report). November—Hold second zone meeting (Again, preceded by notice of meeting and agenda, followed by zone meeting report).

  7. 100% Zone Chairperson March/April—Third zone meeting and report. May/June—Fourth zone meeting (Optional), could be a social event, LCIF fund-raiser, installation of new club officers, induction of new Lions, or a combination of these.
