  2. How has the MLA Style Sheet changed? • Starting this fall, the Modern Language Association style sheet will significantly change the way it indicates whether a source is digital or print!  The big change is that digital sources are now the "norm" and print sources must be specifically designated as "Print," as in this example: Tan, Amy. Saving Fish from Drowning. New York: Putnam, 2005. Print. • Sources published only online are now indicated by the word "Web" in the entry but without a URL (i.e., web page address), as in this example: Belau, Linda. “Trauma and the Material Signifier.” Postmodern Culture           11.2 (2001): n. pag. Web. 20 Feb. 2009. • Sources originally (or once) published in print but found using an online database are indicated by naming the database without a URL, as in this example: Johnson, Kirk. “The Mountain Lions of Michigan.” Endangered Species           Update 19.2 (2002): 27-31. Expanded Academic Index. Web. 26           Nov. 2008. Source: Bedford-St. Martin’s, Update: Documenting Sources in MLA Style, 2009 Update—A Hacker Handbooks Supplement
