  3. Buying vs. Leasing • Pick a car make and model to research prices on. • Find an ad for each car online or in the newspaper (buying a car, leasing, and a used car)

  4. Posters should included the following: • Price of new car: _____________ • Price of leasing a car:__________ • Price of a used car:____________ • Auto insurance on a new car:_________ • Auto insurance on used car: _________

  5. Figure out Monthly payments • Take ticket price and divide the total by 48 for a 4 year loan or 60 for a five year loan to find out your monthly payments. • What would your payments be on each car? 1) New 2) New Leased 3) Used

  6. Posters • Should have pro’s and con’s of buying a new vs. leasing a car & buying a used car • Car make & model you researched • Prices of all three cars w/ monthly payment • Insurance on New vs. used • Which car will you buy???
