  1. The Crater at the homestead resort in midway, ut. Me and my wife visited Midway Utah and stayed at the Zermatt hotel. To our surprise across the street was a big crater in the middle of the “Homestead Resort”, so we decided to check it out! It’s a Geothermal pool that you can walk into like a spa and even snorkel or scuba dive! I have their home website posted on the next slide, you have to check out the video and history of it.

  2. Crater at Homestead Resort The Crater began forming about 10,000 years ago. Water from snow melting on the Wasatch Mountains seeped deep within the earth. Two miles below the surface, the earth's interior heated the water and sent it skyward. As it percolated upward, it picked up minerals and they eventually formed the beehive shaped limestone deposit called the Homestead Crater. Visit this website to see a video and read more background Info on this geothermal phenomena. http://www.homesteadresort.com/Crater
