  1. Week of August 29th - September 2nd, 2011 WelCOME BACK to ELD!

  2. Agenda • Choose an activity: Art Investigation, “What is it box?” or Solve the Riddle. • Grab a pencil , YOUR notebook and sit at your table. • LEVEL ZERO VOICE! • Class Discussion • Thinking MAPbrain storming!

  3. Art Investigation • Pick a picture #1 or #2 • Look first at the colors, shapes and surface • Infer / Guess what the picture might be about! • Write your OPINION down in YOUR notebook!

  4. “What is it box?” • Don’t PEEK! • Investigate: Feel it! Brain Storm! • Describe: What did you feel? What was it’s shape? • Opinion: Using your description, what do YOU think it is? • Explain!

  5. Solve the Riddle • My house is green on the outside. My walls are white. My bed is red and full of babies. What am I? Hint: I am yummy!
