  4. DANZAS, BAILES Y TRADICIONES DE COAHUILA SARAPE DE SALTILLO Danza en honor a este símbolo nacional, el cual es elaborado de lana o algodón por artesanos; también era llamado “jorongo”. DANZA DE LA PLUMA Danza ofrecida como petición para que lloviera, pues la sequía les hacía perder sus cosechas. HUAPANGO SANBUENAVENTURA Música interpretada con instrumentos como el bajo sexto, acordeón, violín y contrabajo. POLKA “LA FILOMENA” Y “DE TORREÓN A LERDO”, características de dichas ciudades. DANZA TLAXCALTECA Sua danzantes eran llamados: “Matlachines”, danzan en honor al santo cristo de la capilla en Saltillo, el segundo domingo de septiembre. DANZA DE LA LECHUGUILLA A través de la cual simulaban el proceso de cortar la penca de lechuguilla, tallarla, exraer la fibra y elaborar cordeles, estropajos y cepillos. JARABE PATEÑO Adquiere este nombre debido a que se originó en la antigua hacienda de patos, hoy General Cepeda CONTRADANZA DE ARTEAGA Lugar anteriormente llamado “San Isidro de las palomas”, su nombre proviene del término: “Country dance” que significa danza campestre, en la que bailan uno frente a otro DANZA KIKAPOO Su comunidad se encuentra a 35 km de la sierra de “Santa Rosa” en un lugar llamado: “El nacimiento” donde nace el río Sabinas.
