- To process and activation request file the following has to be done: Unzip the *.ar file Save the *.ar file to your Desktop Rename the file to *.zip Unpack the zip with a zip tool. The password of the zip is csfaro Do activation of SCENE in Business Studio with c2v file of customer Note the product key of the costumer is contained in the productkey.txt file of the zip. - To check ifdriverisinstalledandrunningcorrectly check iflicensemanagerisrunning(type in browserhttp://localhost:1947) Fortheexperts: Thereshouldbe a servicerunningcalledSentinelLocalLicense Manager (hasplms.exe) Licensing SCENE – Driver Troubleshooting – Installation(1)
- Licensing SCENE – Driver Troubleshooting – Installation(2) Check if trial license was installed successfully. There has to be a Sentinel HASP SL Key from vendor 79264
- Licensing SCENE – Driver Troubleshooting – Installation(3) Check if trial license was installed successfully. There has to be a SCENE 5.1 product under Products
- Licensing SCENE – Driver Troubleshooting – Installation(4) If License manager can’t be accessed or trial license is missing reinstall driver Ensure that antivirus programs are turned off. There can be multiple antivirus programs installed in parallel! ( e.g. Windows Defender, other personal antivirus programs) Ensure that firewall is turned off. There can be multiple firewalls installed in parallel! (e.g. Window Firewall, or other personal firewalls) Remove old driver Run haspdinst.exe -r -fr -kp–purge in command shell. The .exe is located in installation folder of SCENE Install driver shipped with SCENE Run haspdinst.exe –install in command shell located in installation folder of SCENE Try again verification steps shown on previous slides
- Licensing SCENE – Driver Troubleshooting – Communication(4) Antivirus programs or firewalls might block the communication of SCENE with the Sentinel HASP driver To fix this: Ensure that antivirus programs are turned off. There can be multiple antivirus programs installed in parallel!( e.g. Windows Defender, other personal antivirus programs) Ensure that firewall is turned off. There can be multiple antivirus programs installed in parallel!(e.g. Window Firewall, or other personal firewalls) If Licensing of SCENE is running now reenable the turned of antivirus programs and firewalls step by step to find the one that is blocking the communication If you found the antivirus program or firewall that causes the problems let the customer contact its IT department to e.g. don’t block the hasplms.exe service
