  2. Indirect object notes • FIRST, take out any prep. phrases , locate the verb, and find the DIRECT OBJECT that answers what? or who? • THEN, stop at the direct object and ask yourself to whom/for whom? or to what/for what? in order to find the INDIRECT OBJECT.

  4. Ross got a treat for Meow-Meow. Ross got treat = D.O. Ross got Meow-Meow a treat. Ross got treatfor whom? Meow-Meow= I.O
