To move between headings and bullet levels, use the ‘Indent List Level’ buttons found on the ‘Home’ tab • NOT the bullet button Person vs. Non-Person Profile • Person Profiles are attached to a person id. • When a new profile is created, the system assigns a profile id. The applicable emplid needs to be attached to the profile id when the profile is created. • PeopleSoft is delivered with some Content Types, but specific Content Items need to be configured. • Additional Content Types can be configured to meet your specific organizational needs. • Non-Person profiles are attached to identities, such as; Jobcode, Position, Business Unit, etc. • Non-Person profiles can be used to group like jobcodes, positions, locations, etc. • They can also be used to assign specific competencies for specific jobcodes or job families.

Profiles summarize the skills, competencies, and qualifications of a person. • Custom Content Types and Content Items can be configured to avoid certain customizations • Organization Value: • Tracking employees' skills, competencies, and accomplishments is used in both Career and Success Planning. • Avoid customizations that become costly to maintain.

These items are visible thru career and succession planning and will help HR and executives to make decisions based on the employees preferences

The screen looks the same as the employee screen. In this example the manager is entering a new certification for the employee.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Non-Person Profile Key Concepts • Non-Person Profile describe competencies, qualifications, etc. of certain jobcodes, positions, job family or salary grade. • Employees can see what profile types they are a part of. • Managers and Administrators can search for people with the same profiles. • Other candidates for non-person profiles are: • Business Unit • Company • Department • Job Function • Job Task • Location • Regulatory Region

The profile has to be marked as available for ESS to be viewable

Managers can add, edit or delete.

When creating a new content type, PS will default 5 field names. You will want to leave these, but you can add more of your own if needed.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Add Content Type In order for the new content type to be viewable on the profile management pages, you have to add a section to the profile type.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Add Content Type Select the content section you wish to add.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Add Content Type Once you select the content section you wish to add, you will need to designate what role(s) will have access to it.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Add Content Type You will give a name to the new tab as well as designate its order in the collection.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Add Content Type Once the content type is created, you will need to create the content items. When creating a content item id, it can not be the same as any other content id in PS.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Adding Identity to Non-Person Profile In order to report on non-person profiles, you have to add the applicable values as a Profile Identity.

Please delete/add, as appropriate • Ensure client logo is positioned in same location as CBRE logo and size is no larger than CBRE logo (ie approx. 1cm x 3cm) Reporting • There are two records that need to be joined in order to query profile management. • JPM_PROFILE • JPM_JP_ITEMS • The Profile ID and Emplid are in the JPM_Profile record • The Content type is in the JPM_JP_ITEMS record and is called JPM_CAT_TYPE

DIVIDER OPTION 2 • Use this option if you want to use an image • You can either replicate the image from the front cover or you can insert an alternative image • To add an image, click on the picture placeholder icon • Windows Explorer will open, find your required image and click ‘Insert’. • When cover image inserted, right-click in the grey area directly below this text box and select ‘Reset slide’ Q & A • Thank you for your time – marcia.blandford@cbre.com
