A number of expressions involve food names. A potsticker (a gotte) is a person who leaves his comfortable state-owned-job. Eating tofu (chi doufu) is the act of cheating on one’s wife. One of the most common greetings is "ni chi fan ma?" (“Have you eaten yet?”). Many Chinese believe that food has medicinal qualities. They regard the collagen found in shark fin soup for instance as good for the skin. Popular snacks sold on the streets and at sidewalk food stalls include fish balls, barbecued meats, noodle soups, dumplings in all shapes and sizes, and steamed bun with different fillings. Food stalls on the east coast in the summer offer braised eels and crayfish, roast duck, fried dumplings, pineapple on a stick, and bowls of snails and chili peppers and many other.

  5. American food.. Fast food is actually what American food truly is.   MC Donald’s is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast-food restaurants. It started in 1940 as a barbecue restaurant. In the present MC Donald’s sells hamburgers, cheeseburgers and much more. But this kind of dish is not healthy at all. It has a very high content of carbohydrates and fats which in excess harms the body.     We don't realise that, but the fast food can take our lives in time. It is the due to obesity. Unbalanced diet rich in carbohydrates (sweet sand fats), in proportion to the body's energy needs: it's too much for our bodies even if we really love fast-food. No one says: “do not eat fast-food” but you have to be careful because it isn’t so good for us. Let me share with you some funny , yes disturbing facts about MC Donald’s   Some journalists from a newspaper were curious to see how McDonald's food will look like were kept for a few months. Moldy hamburger and potatoes sand have not touched any insect. A hamburger and a serving of McDonald's fries were kept for 6 months by the journalists at room temperature (between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius). After six months, the hamburger and the potatoes had no mold on them. From14 October 2010 ‘till 14 April 2010, McDonald’s food was dehydrated, but verylittle has changed in its appearance

  6. Well…what is your opinion about it?  On a different note here is some interesting information: Don Gorske, a man who loves MC Donald’s consumed over 20.000 Big Mac hamburgers. He appeard in the movie „Super Size Me”, and he is listed in the Guiness Book and he is the main protagonist of the movie „MacDaddy”. Sources: „Gandul” newspaper Daiana Barany after 6 months at the begining of the experiment
