  4. Get an Overview • WAVE Toolbar • Firefox Toolbar • Older rule engine • Good for quick tests and password protected sites • wave.webaim.org • Online version of WAVE • Newer rule engine • Does not work on password protected pages

  5. Document Structure • Headings • ARIA Landmarks • Tools • WAVE • Web Evaluation Tools Bookmarklet

  6. Keyboard Interaction • Using only the keyboard… • Can I interact with everything on the page? • Can I see the visual focus at all times? • Don’t use Chrome for this test

  7. Color • Color is hard • False positivies and things the tools cannot test • wave.webaim.org • Good for checking text on plain backgrounds • Contrast Analyser • Eyedropper tool to select colors on your screen to test • Color Contrast Analyzer for Chrome • Text over images or gradients; text in images
